I don’t get it. This is no different than a cow or a pig or a sheep. The saddest thing to me is that these animals are used by millionaires to make money, with little regard to the impact the racing industry has on animals. If people knew what goes on, they’d be as outraged as they are about slaughterhouse conditions and chicken farms. In the end though, these horses are livestock, nothing more. We should examine how we use them for entertainment that puts their lives at risk.
