Ingersoll Moment
Thousands, millions of people fear that science will destroy not only poetry, not only sentiment, but religion. This fear is idiotic. Science will destroy superstition, but it will not injure true religion. Science is the foundation of real religion. Science teaches us the consequences of actions, the rights and duties of all. Without science there can be no real religion.Only those who live on the labor of the ignorant are the enemies of science. Real love and real religion are in no danger from science. The more we know the safer all good things are.
Robert Green Ingersoll – “Science and Sentiment”

Well put Cap’n. All this philosophy has made me very thirsty. Another draught of rum, and I’ll admit to liking blondes, brunettes and redheads all the same. The ocean air makes you think you could tackle just about anything…

I must say…you are one smooth sailor…

you know Cap’n…I was exploring the site and the ship the other day, and came across a pic of a motorcycle…possibly a view off the starboard during a cross dressing critter’s adventures…be that yours-the bike, not the critter? Remembering our “dark and gadget” and “genius and inventor” personas I’m impressed…and of course totally basking in the compliments you left.

Philosophy an’ Pyrat XO flow through a Heart an’ Soul feedin’ each other fingerfoods, Me Hostess. ‘Tis a Fine Mix with th’Sea Breezes, be it not?

Smooth an’ Piractical Queenliness sleep in th’self-same hammock on this vessel. Ye seem t’be knowin’ quite a bit about Smoothness yer Self.

Me Hostess, Th’Critter indeed be Mine. His name be Muffin; th’cycle belongs t’another person Th’ Cap’n was visitin’ at th’time o’that Adventure – albeit this lesbian Pirate Queen does know how t’handle such a land vehicle. As fer “dark and gadget” and “genius and inventor”, Me Humility forbids Me Self t’say more.

ah your legendary humility…I’ll just have to use my imagination then…

But be it not Imagination that Dreams be made of then? An’ Hope without Dreams be naught but champagne sans th’zing o’bubbles…
